Collaborate on Documents
Documents in Ark allow you to collaborate on written content together with your team and AI Agents. This includes documents such as contracts, strategic plans, and working drafts.
Collaborate on Documents is part of Ark’s collaboration experience, Learn more about collaboration in Ark.
How it works
To collaborate on a document, First, locate the document directly within a chat

Or open it via Your Documents

To collaborate on a document, the person must first be invited to the platform. Once the document is open, click the three dots in the top-left corner and select Assign users to invite them to join the document for shared work.

Select the person you want to invite from the list.

While working on a document:
All collaborators can edit content in real time
You can use the chat to ask an AI Agent to review, edit, or update specific sections
When an AI Agent is processing a request or editing content, collaborators must wait until the action is completed

Version control
Ark maintains a complete version history for all documents:
Every change is tracked, whether made by a human or an AI Agent
You can review previous versions and revert changes at any time
This ensures transparency, accountability, and control throughout the collaboration process.
